Silverpoint Alpaca Merino Hiker Sock – navy
Introducing the Silverpoint Alpaca Merino Hiker sock. Alpaca wool is similar to sheep’s wool, but is warmer, not prickly and has no lanolin, which makes it hypoallergenic and therefore causes fewer allergic reactions. Silverpoint uses alpaca with soft spongy fibres, which have a natural crimp, therefore making a naturally elastic yarn. Alpaca is also stronger than merino and provides a luxurious feel, using the strengths of both yarns to create a sock which gives you ideal temperature regulation, high abrasion resistance, odour control and maximum comfort. These are the reasons why alpaca wool is often referred to as ‘The Wool of the Gods’.
- Luxurious Alpaca Wool for maximum comfort and temperature control
- High abrasion resistance combined with odour control
- Achilles support keeps the sock in place and instep support for more stability
- Reinforced heel and toe for durability and protection
- Rosso toe seam to reduce bulk and prevent blisters
