Designed specifically around the shape of a woman’s foot, the Lady Lynx combines a flattering fit with a premium Italian nubuck leather upper in a soft, versatile beige. Its lighter colour gives the boot a fresh, contemporary appearance that pairs beautifully with neutral outdoor clothing, denim and casual weekend wear. At just 760g per pair, the Lady Lynx feels remarkably light on the foot. This makes it an excellent choice for longer walks, active holidays, travel and anyone who finds traditional leather walking boots unnecessarily heavy or tiring.
A waterproof and breathable membrane is protected within an internal bootie construction, helping keep feet dry without trapping excess heat and moisture. Waterproof laces add further protection when the weather changes.
The triple-density midsole absorbs impact throughout each stage of the walking motion, reducing fatigue and maintaining comfort over longer distances. A removable anatomical insole provides additional underfoot support and can be replaced with a preferred footbed if required.
Around the ankle, the one-piece thermoformed Neo-Trek collar creates a smooth, soft-touch fit without bulky seams. Grisport’s Dynamic Arch Support helps secure the heel, while the torsion-resistant R-System insert provides stability across uneven ground.
Two-zone lacing allows the forefoot and ankle to be adjusted independently. The Quick-Fast middle hook responds as you walk to help maintain balanced lace tension, while metal speed hooks make the boot quick and easy to adjust.
Underfoot, the Vibram Light-Trek rubber outsole delivers dependable grip and durability without compromising the lightweight feel that makes the Lady Lynx so enjoyable to wear. Elegant enough for every weekend and capable enough for every walk, the beige Lady Lynx delivers serious performance with an exceptionally light touch.
How to care for your Grisport boots?
- Preparation: Take the footbed out, so it can dry out. If you also want to wax your boots, take out the boot laces.
- Cleaning: Remove the worst of the dirt under running water with a brush; also remove dirt and stones from the sole.
- Hygiene: To improve the odour of your boots, clean the inside of your boots with luke-warm water and a soft brush. This doesn’t hurt the lining.
- Drying: Never dry boots in direct sunlight or on heat-generating units such as radiators or stoves. Wet leather is very sensitive to heat and “burns” easily (i.e. it becomes brittle and hard, and then gets cracked).
When the lining is wet, stuff boots with newspaper (don’t forget to remove later!). Dry boots keep their shape perfectly with wooden boot trees. - Waxing: Leather needs regular “nutritional” waxing, as do GORE-TEX® lined boots or the trim on cordura boots. Apply wax with a sponge or rag; don’t forget the tongues! Caution: Do not heat! Otherwise the wax penetrates too deeply, decreasing breathability and thus comfort. A beeswax product such as Meindl Sportwax is what we advise to treat this boot.
- Tip for nubuck boots: Waxing changes the boots’ appearance. The leather gets smoother and darker, but this is a perfectly normal, harmless process! The leather is “fed” and the seams become more stable.
- Hooks and Eyelets: Protect against corrosion with wax or Vaseline. It can also be of benefit to remove the laces and rub a little wax on the laces with your fingers.
