They slip over your trousers and foot to below the knee, once zipped up the adjustable stirrup sits under the heel to keep the gaiter in place. Lined with luxury fleece to keep you warm, this also comes with an elasticated pull cord to either tighten or slacken the gaiter and a front hook to attach under the bottom lace of your boots.  One size fits all.
