Scottish company Keela regularly produces well-designed, good quality clothing at a reasonable price and this top is no exception. Made from Zetland 100 Microfleece it has very good warmth to weight ratio, flat locked seams, good length neck zip for ventilation and ease of taking off. Nice added touches include slightly bowed longer back and fleece baffle and top cover for the zip. Fit is slim, making it very suitable as a base layer in colder weather, if you intend to use it mainly as a mid layer or prefer a looser fit best to order a size up. Good arm movement and no bobbling or wear after a good number of outings and washing cycles. The fabric feels lovely next to the skin and is actually a bit fleecier than the images suggest which make the fabric appear smoother. The Keela men’s micro pulse fleece is a firm favourite for cooler days or an extra layer to keep you cosy.
