When your garment requires cleaning, be sure to closely follow the directions on the contents label on the inside of the garment. A well looked-after Canada Goose garment will easily last for more than a decade, if not a lifetime.

When your down-filled parka requires cleaning, it is important that you take it to a dry cleaner and that you do not machine wash it. Machine-washing your parka will void the warranty. If your parka has a removable fur option, remove the fur ruff before dry cleaning. If you have a small stain on your parka, another option is to spot-wash the parka with a bleach-free detergent and water.

Your non-insulated jacket may be machine-washed in cold water using a bleach-free detergent. Do not dry clean and do not tumble dry. Simply hang your jacket to dry and iron on a cool setting if necessary.

Hi a bird has pooped on my fur on the hood the fur can be removed but what’s the best way to clean it?

    Thanks in advance

    1. John says:

Hi Jackie, remove the fur and rinse it through by hand in warm water. Do no use any soap or detergent. A good rinse should soon sort it. Best wishes, John.

I have had my blue chilli wacka coat dry cleaned and it’s faded and has white faded patches on the arm wat could have gone wrong ?

Dear Alison, until your parka is examined in person it is not possible to determine the cause. Information about the dry cleaner and the process they used is also required. If you purchased from a European authorised Canada Goose stockist then your best option is to contact Canada Goose directly via their website and they will be happy to help you.

  18. Tina Saunders says:

Hi- I have a white CG parka that’s a few years old. I’ve had it dry cleaned after each season, but there are still some stains left. What can I do to clean it more/better? Can I use some mild detergent and water to scrub the area along the sleeves and pockets?

    1. John says:

Hello Tina, white can be a problem to keep pristine and having it regularly dry cleaned is pretty much all you can do. I would not advise using any detergent. Advise you contact the warranty team at CG via their website who should be able to assist.
