The Matrei is a lightweight boot in the Meindl range which uses their Comfort Fit which offers an anatomical fit, soft and supple upper, plenty of space in the ball and toe box.  Soft and supportive sole.  This boot will particularly suit a wide foot.

Upper material: Nubuck leather / Velour leather.  Lining: GORE-TEX.  Footbed: Comfort Fit, cork and fleece.  Sole: Meindl Comfort Hiker.  Weight: 680g (size 8).

Cleaning: use Meindl Cleaner In and Out (product code MC) foam soap inside and outside of the boot and rinse with clean water.  Ensure that you leave your boots to dry naturally.  Cleaning your footwear will enhance their performance and life.

Proofing: use Meindl Sportwax (product code MSW) each time you clean your boots and Meindl Wetproof (product code MW) every third time for deeper penetration into the leather to help maintain the water resistance of the leather.
